The Banda’s were married in 1962 and lived in Austin, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Banda had three sons; Jesse, Jerry, and Onesimo. Mere’s Reserve on the Colorado, LLC a rustic outdoor venue was built in honor of Maria after her passing. Maria loved the holiday season, messing around in her garden, hanging out with her grandchildren, and watching baseball. She would stay up all night to watch the world series. Maria’s favorite color was yellow. But most of all Maria specially loved to be around family and friends and before her passing she wrote a letter to her family asking that they cherish their time together. The name “Mere” was a childhood nickname. As a true Texan family who speaks TexMex the name Mere had a little bit of a Spanish twang to it. Mere’s Reserve on the Colorado is a place for all families to come together and cherish their time as Mere loved to do herself.
Every once in a blue moon you will see Mere's husband Lawerance on the property feeding his beloved cows and enjoying the events from afar that are filled with family and friends.
